Looking for friends who can relate

Currently going through a divorce and looking for friends who have done the same. This experience is extremely difficult and lonely, especially in the chruch. I am a working mom of a beautiful little girl who is the delight of my life and keeps me smiling. Would have loved to be home with my daughter, but it was not feasable. I love to laugh, smile and find the good in life, but do not shy away from the challenges placed in my path. In moments of growth I try to always keep the eternal perspective in view. I am very stong and determined = stubborn ;o) but like those who can tell me when they disagree. I am open, honest and what you see is who I am. Hiding behind a made up image or pretending to be something different is a waste of time; true friendship can only be built on honesty and the real person. Convert to the church at age 6 and served in the Virginia Roanoke mission. Have served the last 6 years as ward activity committee chair in addition to RS teacher, or primary teacher. My favorite GA is Pres. Monson!!! It is my faith in Heavenly Father's plan for me that gives me strength during moments of growth. I am not perfect, no one on this earth is, but I keep moving forward, setting goals and trying to better myself and home. Open to try any new activity! Enjoy game nights with friends, reading, spending time at our familys cabin in Santa Cruz, traveling, baking, taking walks, etc. Have always wanted to take a zip line ride through the jungles of S America. While I like "thrilling" activities, I also enjoy quiet evenings snuggling on the couch. While living in LA & traveling the world I discovered a love for a variety of cuisines and I will try anything once except anchovies. LOL Through this process I have discovered a love for walking; it has given me an opportunity to put life in perspective and know my needs more clearly, in addition to making me feel great!! Now that the days are shorter, my daughter and I spend 4-5 days at the gym/kids club.
